Andy Parsons has been producing practical and durable countryside and garden furniture since 1994. Encompassing all aspects of countryside access, his products range from small signs and seating through to buildings and bridges. His product designs and materials aim to enhance the enjoyment of those visiting or living in the countryside without intruding on the landscape. Working mostly with oak his products mellow to a beautifully subtle silver grey, producing a calm and natural feel. Whether walking over, sitting on or just placing a hand upon a finished piece you can sense the weight, strength and the durability of this ancient timber. It's no wonder that most cultures through time have regarded oak highly.

Andy first discovered the pleasures of working with wood as a small boy during the 1960`s whilst helping (or was it hindering?) his father.
“If a jobs worth doing its worth doing well” - John Parsons (father & mentor)
Remembering his fathers’ words he was quick to learn the importance of working to a consistently high standard and how important attention to detail is to a product.
Based in Mid Argyll , Andy draws on the knowledge and experience gained during a career that has taken him all over the UK involving carpentry and joinery, cabinet and pattern making, boat building, exhibition / set construction, the restoration of historic buildings / architecture and wind and water mill machinery.
In recent years he has supplied a wide and varied range of countryside products for community, domestic and commercial projects throughout Argyll and its islands. Out-with Argyll, he has carried out projects from Loch Lomond & the Trossachs to the Isles of Noss and Unst in Shetland.
Commissions are always a pleasure
