As a self trained wood sculptor residing in rural Argyll I draw inspiration from the ever changing West Coast Scenery and other areas I have lived throughout Scotland .

My work, which is sometimes abstract, always draws inspiration from my love of animals and a respect for their ability to prosper in Scotland 's harsh environment. Wood captures their movement well and is able to portray the strong flowing line of a sea bird's wing or the spiralling movement of an otter's tail.

Wood is an organic giving medium which can capture the spirit of a living creature; bringing a taste of Scottish wilderness into your home.
